What are TCA Advanced Peels

A TCA peel is a cosmetic chemical peel performed to treat a wide range of skin problems such as :

  • Visible signs of ageing

  • Photodamage

  • Acne

  • Rocacea

  • Scarring

It is a man-made acid that comes in many different percentages and PH’s for use in cosmetic and medical peels. We use it at a cosmetic level (epidermis only).

Environ TCA  is known as ‘the peel that doesn’t peel.’ The acid will stress the keratinocytes in the skin just enough without killing them in order to stimulate the cells to release various growth factors, without stripping or irritating the skin, allowing for minimal downtime. These growth factors plump and rejuvenate skin, promoting new collagen and elastin production. Environ are always looking to preserve the integrity of the skin and TCA Peels allow this.


A COURSE OF PEEL TREATMENTS

  • Treatment helps to improve the visible signs of ageing and softens the texture of the skin.

  • Treatment helps to improve the texture and appearance of oily, blemish prone skin.

  • After a course of peels, the skin appears more refined, revived and radiant with an overall improved appearance.

  • Environ recommends a course of 6 to 12 peels for optimal results.

It is essential to prepare the skin with Environ’s Vitamin A Moisturisers for a minimum of three weeks prior to peeling. This preparatory step strengthens and repairs the skin, reducing the likelihood of reactions and enhancing the results achieved during the peeling process.
